I just bought a sailboat, 27, 81 Catalina...
Great boat, just, none of the rigging is done..
So I was wondering if someone could point me towards.. a beginner rigging guide..

Of course the other option is to get it proffessionaly done..
I am considering that too..
Anyone have any idea how much that'll cost?
I have all the ropes.. they were just taken off to be cleaned..

Welcome Ghost.
You used the word rigging. By that do you mean the ropes used to raise and lower sails (halyards)? Or are you questioning the wires (shrouds) that hold the mast vertically in place (standing rigging)?
Did the previous owner leave you an owners manual? You might google search for an online manual.
Here is one link... http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=814
Here is Judy's site link. She is a Catalina owner and this might be a place to get familiar with the boat through another owners experience. http://www.blumhorst.com/catalina27/catalinahomepage.htm

A start for you. Have you sailed for a long time?
Enjoy this sight. Lots of info and some very helpful sailors.
