Replacement cabin lights

Has anybody upgraded their cabin light bulbs with LEDs? I was recently shown around a new arrival at our marina (2010 C310) and was impressed with the improved lighting down below. I have the small (very) bulbs with two pin connections in my lights and have been unable to find a direct replacement LED. Replacing the entire light fixture would I imagine be very expensive.

I am still a huge fan of Cruising Solutions (Bradd Wilson <info@cruisingsolutions.com>) as they have th red/white light that is the best change you can make to any light that could be turned on when night sailing or even at anchor. All our internal lights arr Cruising Solutions, and 1/2 are the ones that can come on Red then change to white with the flip of the switch... worth looking into.

Knowing all this I go to M4 and still have many choices. There are no markings on the bulb so I don't know 5W to 20W or 3/4' to 1 and 3/16'. Does anyone have the part number of what they bought and it worked well. Thanks

The two pin ones are extraordinarily easy to install and work great! Well worth the small amount of money to replace.

Went with the 2W 170 lumen wafers.

a god source for LED replacements is marinebeam.com You will be amazed at the power savings. Warm white is a good color for reading. I find the cool white to harsh except in engine room.

We also went with Cruising solutions red/white for 1/2 of the interior lights. we have had no problems. They are an easy replacement.

Those Red/White LEDs are a great idea. I wish I'd seen them before I bought the M4 white LEDs. I don't think every cabin light needs the red, but 4 or 5 of them would be nice.

I found blue and white on marinebeam.com but they didn't have any that were white then red. Where are you finding that?

Anyone have a source for a red LED Festoon bulb that fits the lamp in the C-310 head compartment? I've found a while one, but not a red one. They are not in the Catalina Direct listing and I've not found any in a search of other sites.

I bought these on Amazon, but it looks like they don't have them now. Those give you the specs, at least.
