Need to replace one of the 2 freezers in my Hunter 50. Ordered new one from WM. Anyone have any advise on removal?

If this is the drop down freezer. In my 45cc I could not remove it or replace it in one piece. The geometry did not allow it to clear the trim under the micro wave. I had to remove the compressor housing (4 screws) and lift the box separate from the compressor. Fortunately, there is enough tubing between the compressor and the box to allow this. It is definitely a 2 person job, and you want to do it in tandem so as not to kink the tubing. There were no hold down screws holding the unit in place on my system, only the weight of the unit

Slipin Away, thanks for your reply. Yes, this is one of 2 "drop down" freezers. On the 50 there is nothing above the freezer until the headliner, so geometry for removal should be OK. I thought that the freezer was held in only by gravity, so I know now I don't have to look for any hidden screws or fasteners.
When you removed, did you repair or replace?
