Ray marine ST60 won't power on

I recently bought a 1984 Catalina 30 with a Raymarine ST60 Tridata (although might be an ST60+; it has a power button) installed. The unit worked fine during the trial sail and "never" gave the previous owner any problems, but I haven't been able to power it on since I bought the boat. The cable routing in the lazarette is a little messy so it's hard to tell what's going where, but I was able to detect 12V on the cable with the in-line fuse so from this point I am assuming it has power.

Are there any tricks for this unit? Or should it just power on when it's getting current from the battery? It has a power button on the lower-left, which seems to do nothing.

Thank you!

You MIGHT have to hold that button down for several seconds. And go online and get the owners manual.

Well, I figured it out. Crazy. The power supply line was spliced into the factory odometer/trip line, and you have to turn that switch on for the tridata to receive power. Good lord.

Thanks for the input!
