Yep, I'd say Ed loves his boat. I believe I'll keep my eye out for one (boat, not Ed). No hurry, and not really fiscally feasable just now anyway, but hey, it's fun to dream.

Its funny how rare it is to get pictures of ones boat taken from another boat. I was out for a solo sail Sunday and a friend in another boat had her camera out...Thanks Lisa!

Nice Blaise, glad you got this on here. Big 'ol jib there on your 1979 Hunter 37-S. Yep, 'S' for Sloop.

Here's another, but a 'C' as in Hunter 37-Cutter. This was Carl Wood's H37C out of Deale, MD. Haven't seen or heard from Carl since 2000 or 2001.

Oh, and I rotated the one of your Midnight Sun.

You need to tell me how you did that. (rotate) The big jib as you called it is just a 135%. Anything bigger backwinds the main.

I just right-clicked on your picture and saved it in one of my boat picture folders. Then when you display a picture with Windows or most other viewers there is a rotate arrow. Saved the rotated picture and then reloaded it here. And in "yankee" land a 135 is huge! Just compare the two side-by-side, yours and Carl's.

I have a 1983 Hunter 37C as well - she is coming around and is looking better and better every day - had a nice sail in 20 kt winds on saturday in the chesapeake - her name is Courageous!

Hey Dan and Jim! About those 1983 H37Cs, when can we see some pictures? You can edit the previous posts and add a picture or two. Or you can do a new post. Either way this thread is entitled "Picture of your H37C". Are your boats in the directory that Jim Legere is updating? All he needs are your hull id, boat name, and location. There are only three 1983s in the listing: see PDF below.

Please note that our Hull number is 225, not 126, we got the full batten main from a guy in montreal for 75 $. Anybody knows who's the owner of hull #126 ?

Thanks for your work on the history of the H37C. I have an update: I own Hull # 194 I bought it from Mike4075 in Aug 2005. She is still named Illusion and The Hull ID is HUN37194M80I I brought it down from Newberryport MA to Annapolis Md where I sail out of Millcreek Marina. Since I sail singlehanded I do not have any underway Pics but attached is one of Illusion at anchor.
