Do the stantions on the 10m have backing plates? hey have rubber gaskets under them, do you need to cut out the liner to reach all the stantions from inside the cabin? The mast base is in the bilge, is there a common fix for this to move the base out of the bilge, thank you!!

Welcome. What's the story with the boat, did you just get it? It's a beautiful type.
There are a few 10M guys here, I'm sure they can help.
BTW, t's stanchions.
They mast step is probably on the keel, so I don't know about moving this out of the bilge, as you say.

I haven't purchased the boat yet! Hull is in good shape as is the interior, a few soft spots on deck, around stantions and some crazing of the gel coat in spots. Thanks for the message john
