O'Day 222 Bulkhead Replacement

Picked up an '84 O'Day 222 in November. It needs a little TLC. Among the first things it needs is to have the bulkheads replaced because both are rotted at the chain plates. Started some demolition work over the weekend taking advantage of the unusually warm weather. So far the cabinet and sink are out and with just a few more screws the starboard bulkhead will be out.

Open to suggestions from anyone who has already been here and done that.

Rick Kane over at http://forum.trailersailor.com/forum.php?id=1 did a 222. He got it in March 2015, so that gives you some time frame. I think he opened up the bulkheads some for a more open space. I know he did a lot of deck re-coring from inside the cabin. You could do some searches, there are posts of his with pictures. Really nice work.

Thanks Brian,

I did see a post of his over there on his compression post 'fix'. I also have some re-coring to do that I would like to do from inside the cabin. I'll see if I can find those posts.
