I just bought my 2004 boat and am surprised that there is no opening in the fuel locker to run the fuel line through. Could others tell me what they have done to route the line. BTW I agree with others that mounting the motor on the starboard side along with the battery and far from the fuel locker is very odd.

My fuel locker lid has at the bottom edge (left side of lid) a recess where the fuel line passes thru.
I assumed that mine would have something like that but bottom of lid is straight and goes all the way to the sole.
