Would a long shaft 6hp
Tohatsu be at least the minimum(required) to move a B24(thru the marina in and outs, ect)?

One hp per 1000# will achieve hull speed on most sailboats if the sea state is not too bad. A bigger motor just a waste of weight, costs and fuel. Unless you have a flat bottom planing boat you can not go faster than you hull speed anyway.
