I do not know much about the terms on sailboats but I have been fixing a MacGregor 25 the backstay , forestay and side stays go to a piece of metal that is mounted on the boat itself that piece of metal East secured to the boat by bolt the old bolt had a plastic gasket on it and I can find blue jet Marina or anybody that can sell the exact bolt so I was wondering if I can put the old bolt back in Wiese some silicone would that be okay thank you guys
