We are about to lay Milvina up for the summer in Grenada, and would like advice on how to "summerize" our batteries
We have 3 pairs of Trojan golf cart batteries in parallel for our house bank.
We have a 150 watt solar panel, with a Morningstar Pro-Star MPPT controller. According to the manual, we can simply leave it connected, and it will maintain the batteries without overcharging them.
Comments from those with experience would be appreciated
We also have two separate 12 volt batteries which are not connected to the house system. I plan to run temporary wires from the house batteries to them, on the theory that this will give them a small maintenance charge without damaging them.
Comments on this approach would be welcome
