    Good Morning Everyone,
Im refitting a 1978 O'Day 25. I was curious as to how to tighten and adjust the rigging once we step the mast back in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the tension ranges should be for my vessel?
Im going to order a loos gauge in hopes that I can tune the rigging.
    Cheers

Rig tuning is dependent on the size of the shroud cabling which will be typically set to 15% rated cable strength. The loos gauge will have a chart on it for recommended tension given the cable size. You will have to know the cable size to ensure you select the correct loos gauge.

Here is a pic of my loos & Company gauge as a reference as to tension vs % of burst for the three common cable sizes for these smaller sail boats.
