leak round compression post

Hi I have a legend 356 and have a slight leak round compression post , can anybody give me some advice on this ?

look in the archives for Jim Seamans/Java to see if he ever reported his work on that. He is deceased now.

One possibility is to cClean out the drain holes in the bottom of your mast to allow rain/waves to exit before entering the boat.
