so I get an add today for a laser rust removal machine..... video is amazing (aren’t they all). Vaporizes the rust and paint on metal leaving it ready to paint. Looks like a great devise to use on my keel. So does anybody have experience with these? Seems every yard would have one if they worked....

For $39 with free shipping I figured why not try.......

Interesting device. One must wonder why it is selling for $40 when the "list price" is $299.

While searching the site, I found this device https://www.moveurme.com/products/beer-belt it would be handy while working around the boat. No need to get down the ladder to get a beer.

Where did they find all that stuff on the site. Temporary tattoos, beard trimmers, laser rust removal and more.

Wow. Where do you think it was made? What kind of contaminants will that put in the air around the work area?

Vaporizes rust, paints, oils, but not hair or skin. Magic?

Let us know how it goes.
Suggest getting protection for your eyes, and not breathing in any of the vapor or ash from the work area.

Pretty sure the California prop 65 warning signs will be needed. (Prop 65 came about from a growing concern that many chemicals may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.)

When aimed at a metal surface, the dirt layer and any oxides underneath will absorb the energy and evaporate !!!!!!!!!

That's like SHAMWOW !!!!!!!!

I just bought some tonic on that sight that will cure headaches, good for diseases of the body and will heal dog bites.

Double SHAMWOW !!! I can't wait to try it

The $40 version is the brilliant one. Borrow images and footage, never ship anything, and keep the money for whoever forgets to dispute!

Go back and look at the carefully cropped photos on this site: https://www.moveurme.com/collections/black-friday/products/portable-rust-removal

And then look at the photos on this site: https://www.cleanlaser.de/wEnglish/produkte/high-power-cl-1000.php?navanchor=2110014

What's missing from the first site? The various cables and hoses that connect the laser gun to the laser generator. Most of the photos from the company's site show the gun attached to some sort of big metal box where all the electronics are located along with the power source.

For only $39 you get the gun, not the laser generator. That would be extra.

Exactly what I was thinking. Just the gun; not the whole set up.
