Lancer 36 Quadrant?

Aloha all,

I'm looking for a new quadrant for my 1980 36' Lancer... the current one has the bolts "welded" due to electrolysis and I'll likely have to cut it out to drop the rudder :-/ Dunno how to get one built, so I was hoping there is a buy option

It is probably an Edson quadrant. I think Lancer used Edson steering back then. They should be available just about anywhere, even ebay. You might be able to drill that bolt out.

Are there any numbers on it? I'm with Brian, I'm sure Edson can provide a new one, even if the original is not Edson.

I've managed to get 1-1/2 of 3 bolts out with only minor hand injuries ;-) Still working it. Attaching photo w/ #'s
