Can anyone tell me why I'm getting water coming over the tube around my keel cable inside of my Sirius 22? Is there a way to seal this and not affect the function of the winch cable? I'm new to posting, but have gotten some great information from the site! Thanks.

Mine has a piece of hose around the cable attached to the trunk. I can't remember how tall it is but it seems like it goes almost to the winch drum. We do not get water in our boat from there. Does yours have this hose?
Yes it does, it's about 12" high with hose clamps on it. Water just trickles over while under way, it's not a tremendous amount just annoying.....
Thanks John, I was going to try to "cork" it with the hole for the cable in it. How is yours sealed?
