impeller type

Anybody know if the Yanmar 2GM20F has a "keyed" impeller or straight bore? Boat is over an hour away, and wrapped up for winter. Boat is a 1991 Hunter 28.

I have the same engine with a Johnson pump. The impeller is keyed.

See my recent post regarding 2gmf impellers. I have two impellers which will not fit my pump but may fit yours. You can check the internal parts carefully against the Yanmar parts list and diagrams to determine which pump you have. In my case I have the pump shown in the first diagram and the impellers are a bit larger that the others. Reg

left and impeller looks like it's missing part of the tip at 5 o clock. hope it's not stuck in your heat exchanger...? is th engine running hotter than usual ?
