But I thought you all would like to see what it looks like to sail on San Francisco Bay. The weather looks bad, but it really improved as the day went on.

I would like to think we could use this thread as a plae to show off your action sailing pictures. Kind of like Boat Babe on the other thread. I am not saying I don't like those, but a thread about sailing our MAC's would be a great thread to rival theirs. THey have over 10,000 posts and replys, let's give them a run for their money....

Thanks for the photo of my boat under sail. Would you believe, I never take photos of my own boat, only others who are out sailing with me. That's a neat gennaker you are flying (or is your spinnaker?) We have had many great sails togeather both on my 22' Venture, as well as your unique 25' MacGregor. And, god willing, we will have many more. Remember, we plan on sailing to Santa Barbara Island (30 miles offshore) this next summer. Let's see if we can sail with a group of boats. The more the merrier.

On the Gulf...

Finding a camera boat that has a good photographer is a chore. Either you find a sailor that sail..but is too busy keeping up to take a picture of your boat or a photographer who can't sail and can't keep up with your boat....can't win sometimes.

You are right about not having folks to take action pictures very often. We are lucky that other club members take some during races and forward them to us.

OK, I wanted to resist, but

I posted this photo earlier, but it bares posting again...so to speak. The monitor may ban me, but here goes..

This was a gal that wanted to race with us. She doesn't own a boat, but does own a couple of plastic puppies...which she was too eager to show off.

At any rate, it's Florida, and Florida is a lot of fun!
