Hunter 31 Scotty's Cove - Grand Lake
I have a 2009 Hunter 31 at Grande Lake in Northeastern Oklahoma. The rubber seal around the fake teak sitting in the cockpit is separating from the boat and water continues to gather between the fiberglass seating and the fake teak. The seating will soon totally separate from the cockpit. Does anybody have a resolution to repair the rubber seal around the fake teak sitting?

Have the same situation on my 2008 Hunter 38.

I recall a posting in the archives that I saw several years ago. The poster talked about how he removed the old caulk, pulled up the synthetic teak, removed the residue (Hunter held it down with double stick tape) and then glued the teak down and recaulked.

I’ve done one section but have the entire rest of the cock pit seats to do. Try a search for that thread.

I’ll see if I can find it.

I found one thread
