hunter 41 and windlass help

How do i get below my windlass, it does not work any more and i think a need to change the selenoid. But how do i get there ?

There is also a circuit breaker for this on the side of the nav station seat, have you checked that?

You need to pull the front storage box in the bow shower. Run a blade around the caulk line, then take out the 4 SS screws. If you do pull the cabinet, tighten up the windlass bolts too. The manual said to re tighten them after they take a set.....but many have never had a second tightening.

Like uncle dom said check the breaker before hand.

get someone with a DC clamp on am meter to check what amps of current is running into the windlass positive on the motor from the windlass control box when you activate the windlass (with engine running .) the amp draw on a windlass is so big the engine needs to be running to charge the battery to get my lew mar windlass to work.
