Hey, I am interested in a new head sail. What experiences are out there to increase to a 130, 135 head sail and what new track worked. Many thanks!

Not recommended but asks sail maker and you will find out
It will not work out.

B&R rig isn't designed for overlapping Jib/Head Sail. The oversized Mainsail is where the B&R gets the majority of its power.

The main sail is the driving sail in Hunters B&R configuration and would throw the helm balance off as well as the sheeting. I would just get a new 110 sail and you will get the most benefit and balanced sailing from that configuration. If you need more power get a big roach main sail also.

Like everyone else here is saying, it will not work. There’s been several threads on this forum about it in the past. I remember starting one myself a couple years ago.
On my 340, the mainsail is huge and the boom is 16’ long. The jib actually measured out to 108%. The boat came with a Doyle UPS, pretty much a code 0 that is about 135%, which is a way to get more upwind headsail area. It sets outside the shrouds and is pretty flat. I can carry into 60 degrees apparent and closer in light winds with a twing. The helm balances nicely with it up.

As said the design of the B&G is not setup for a bigger jib but years ago some one on this forum was racing and wanted
a bigger jib and he went to a real good sail maker who went to the boat and took all the specks and I think a 120 was made with out having any problems but as I remember was for racing and the sailmaker made a custom racing jib.
