Hunter 34 batteries

Have any of you Hunter 34 owners added an assess hatch in the aft cabin bulkhead to service the batteries?
If so what size hatch did you use?
Is there a brand of hatch better suited to this area?

I plan to put in an access opening similar to what fellow 34 guy and forum member, Claude Auger did in his boat.

Claude did this for fuel tank access but a similar opening, using the cut-out for a cover would be fine..
I installed a remote watering system for battery maintenance, but eventually, a fuel tank clean-out will be necessary too.

I considered cutting an access in the center-line bulkhead, but because of the location of the fuel tank thought that using it might be more problematic than using the cockpit access.
