I launch on a sand ramp and need to keep weight to a bare minimum to get it out of the water. Is there anyway to drain tank while it is underway? If I open the tank flood valve while underway will it drain at all?
Has anyone tried to build a pump system to drain it through the upper vent hole?
I am 90% there on building one and looking for any hints if built before. Will post pics if there is any interest in seeing.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron; I can answer that one. Unless you actually pump out under way to the trailer, some water might drain out but not enough. However, as a dealer I was known to launch from beaches and wet sand is very hard. So if as long you are on wet sand and not steep, then open the valve and open the air vent by the steps and put the boat on the trailer. Takes about 2 or a little more to drain once on the trailer.
