Hello,
I want to install a in-hull transducer in my 87 model C22. The Garmin rep tells me that it will work only with hulls made of solid fiberglass and not any cored material. Is the 87 solid fiberglass? *fingers crossed*

Most likely no core just ahead of the keel in forward V berth compartment access area. Mine works just fine there in my 83 firmly embedded in a hunk of toilet wax ring.

I have an 87 and it works fine just in front of the keel behind the water tank under the V berth. I used plumbers putty in place of the toilet wax.

An '87 C-22 hull is not cored.
