B&G makes great instruments, but I have seen problems with some of their connectors.

Well, I guess I have no luck...
Went up the mast this morning and the connection feels secure. Hard to tell for sure, since I can only get up far enough to reach my hand to the top of the masthead. It was plugged n and not wiggly. Fortunately I don't need wind info to sail on my small inland lake. I'll fix it when I instep the mast come October.
