136 is low for most diesel I have personally tested. Most is above 150.
The point still stands regardless of 14 degrees. WISER is my reference. You can find varying flammable ranges also with labs being different as well as fuel mixtures. When talking flash points and flammable ranges, I’m going with the conservative number, you do what you want.

While the idea of a suppression system is nice it is a bit overkill for a diesel sail boat that should be sailing most of the time. I have put out diesel fires at the fire station. It took a flare to get it light. When hit low with the CO2 it went out quickly. I was surprised at the short duration of the 5 lb container. So I installed 2 of the larger 10 lb units.

My greater fear is a grease fire on the stove. Best plan is to cover stove with a fire blanket.
