I am trying to locate a ZF BW7 marine transmission which attaches to marineengine, a Bukh DV 20 ME. I think it is the same transmission as the Westerbeke JS gear probably for a Westerbeke Pilot 20.
I have been having a hard time locating a rebuild kit and/or clutch plaits.
I am asking of you, if you could search for some of these old transmissions in your storage area or back room or attic or garage and if located, strip them down to the inner parts, scrutinize the best parts in your opinion, and send them to me. I could take the back plates (clutch plates) and use them as they were probably used 2% of the time because of reverse. I will pay for shipping and if all goes well , a finders fee. (Especially the back plates).
