Here's a boat you don't see often. A friend hauled his boat at the same yard as we did following the Newport Beach to Ensenada BC race. SHe's a Hunter's Child 50 fast cruising yacht designed for a couple with practicality first. We sailed on this boat many years ago when she first came to the west coast. We were in Catalina Island and went out with HBO's Phil Herring during the Hunter Rendezvous. Wonderful boat.

I recall as you; don't know the actual number, but it was small. Very innovative.

I'm pretty sure it was actually designed to be sailed single handed. Awesome tech even today.

yes, she was designed for the single-handed around the world race. I drool over the nav station - the seat, desk, and instrument panel are on a gimbal that rotates to stay level no matter how the boat is heeling
