Has anyone replaced their hatch with a Lewmar or perhaps a Bomar 2000 series hatch? I have repaired my OEM hatch on my O'Day 26 several times and I am looking to replace it but would like to have a metal hatch with dogs and a screen rather than the old school polycarbonate hatch that came on the boat new. I'm confident I can make just about any similarly sized hatch work - but I dont know what I dont know. Has anyone got experience doing this repair on a 25 or 26? I believe the forward decks are identical on these boats. Help!
