Nice job relocating pump and my pump has worked OK last time I used the over board
on a trip to Key West and out in Gulf.
I also have blower that does help remove heat from engine area but need to add some more hose
into engine area with more hose moreinto engine area because mine is set back from engine.

Nope...it's not in their service kit...

...it's their replacement pump cylinder kit that includes a pump body:

If that's all you bought, thinking it was the service kit, you still need the service kit.

Well, no, I think you must be thinking of a different thread. This one is about the Jabsco Macerator Pump, 18590. Your links go to the toilet itself.

Please refer to https://www.amazon.com/Jabsco-Service-18590-Macerator-Pumps/dp/B076GXGNRQ
and https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=146711
New macerator pump body included.

Not bad at all, really. My circa 1993 Jabsco macerator just went out a couple of weeks ago and after disassembly that got me looking closely at their service kit. Turns out the kit costs more than half the on-sale price of a brand new 18590, so I went with a new one - agreeing completely with your advice after all

I don't think "just dumping it in" is anything close to the light mist that's needed. Pump garden spray bottles can spray several feet when fully "charged" (buy a decent one...the cheap ones aren't even worth their bargain price). Better yet, make the necessary mods to create access to every inch of your boat...you'll be glad you did.

Jabsco pumps are well known for this. They used brass bolts instead of stainless, and the pump would fall apart.
I would never rebuild a mascerstor. For 80 bucks, buy a new one and throw the old one in a dumpster while plugging your nose,
They always stink once you crack them open. It’s not worth it.

Yep. My forward macerator had the same brown ring around it. Three of the four bolts were completely corroded through. New macerator is the only way to go. Two hoses and four mounting screws and a couple of wires. No brainer.
