Anyone ever successfully install a shoot thru depth finder in a 240? If so, where did you place the puck? This guy isn't drilling a hole in a perfectly good boat. Thanks in advance.

I just realize I posted the bilge pump. My bad! Look in the manual. It should tell you. The PDF link should do it for you.

I installed a shoot thru hull transducer in my H26 next to the bilge pump. Looking at the 240 owners manual, it looks like the setup is very similar. You should be able to install one there.

It's not necessary, but I used one of these. It allows you to compensate for the angle of the hull, pointing the transducer straight down rather than on an angle. The inside is filled with mineral oil. You could go buy a new wax toilet ring and stick the transducer to the hull first before making a permanent installation.

Plumbers putty is the easiest application. Make sure no air pockets. Kermit. @Kermit

Explain about your install with plummets putty. I helped and it works. A lot easier and less messy than mineral oil
