Anyone integrated Standard Horizon GX2150 VHF with Raymarine E7 chartplotter?

Yes mine is. It gets gps info from the e7D and AIS is sent to it - so two separate 0183 networks. What do you want to know??

I interfaced a GX2200 to an e7D. They trade GPS info and the GX sends AIS to the e7D. I used unsheilded twisted pair Ethernet cable for the wiring run (Nav station to steering pod).

My GX2150 and e7 manuals show the following:
e7 MFD Port 1:
white: Input +, green: Input -, yellow: Output +, Brown: Output -
GX2150 (No GPS in radio):
green: NEMA Common ground/-, blue: GPS input +, grey: DSC output +, brown: AIS output +

GX2150 manual says if using one MFD NMEA port, then set up MFD at 38400 baud I/O to send GPS to GX2150 using blue wire and receive AIS/DSC from GX2150 using grey wire. GX2150 Brown not used. So looks like 2150 sends both DSC + AIS over grey wire.

So e7 to GX2150 wiring diagram will be:
e7 GX2150
white (I+) grey (O+)
green (I-) green (O-)
yellow (O+) blue (I+)
brown (O-) green (I-)

Leslie/Rob- Look OK?

Odd that the 2150 uses the same wire for - on both input and output, but if that's what the manual says, I'd try that. Makes sense that DSC and AIS would be sent on the same wire/port.

Common ground is fairly common on 0183.
Agreed, but the GX2200 has separate grounds for input and output. They actually say to leave the NEMA output (-) open if the chart plotter has only one wire for signal ground.
