I don't think it is critical. It is a low speed, low pressure, low temperature application. I've used "regular" grease and it has never washed out. Look for a second fitting. There should be one above the quadrant and one below it. And while you're crawling around back there check the cables carefully for broken strands, etc. and oil the turning blocks at the base of the pedestal.
