Genset for Hunter 38

Hi Hunters Owners,
I am starting my new project - Genset for Hunter 38 (2006).
Main usage - Microwave, TV, Bose Sound system, Coffee machine and AC driven watermaker in future. If you are H38 owner and have genset installed any information will be great: how big it is, where it is located on the boat, noise level, water intake/exhaust arrangements, etc.

I have a 376 so very similar. Mine came with a Phasor 3.5KW in the starboard lazarette. It is the only one that will fit there and it barely fits so it is hard to make a sound box for it (most gensets are tall and slim but the Phasor is short and long), It is loud, even with a custom built housing so I avoid running it when I can but as a person who lives on anchor with his family I need to every now and then even though I have 400 watts solar and 400 watts windgen. Honestly, these boats do not have a good place to put a genset.

I have a 4200 Fisher Panda and one of the smallest and quietest
are Fisher Panders.
I have a 2007 H-36 and my Gen is in my port side cockpit.
