General Maint

I am looking at buying my first boat and am wondering about maint. on a fiberglass boat. It will be kept in a slip in fresh water. I am looking at a used 25 foot Catalina. Could anyone recomend a book for the first time boat owner that covers maint. Any suggestions would be helpful.Thanks,Homer

There are others

That's great for systems but it doesn't cover stuff like varnishing, etc. For that Don Casey's "This Old Boat" and Ferenc Mate's "Shipshape" are good choices. Your best bet is to go to West Marine
