Does a Hunter 41/ 41DS have one of these and if so, where is it located?

Have no idea if it has one, or not.

Ususally it would be near the AC shore power entrance somewhere before the fuse or disconnect on board.

Both of mine are in the port transom locker. There is one for each shore power service.

Thanks. Is your shore power plug-in on the port side as well? Mine is starboard

I'm pretty sure if you crawl into the starboard sugar scoop lazarette and look up you will find two isolation transformers, two circuit breakers which are mount in the aft cabin wall, and two galvanic isolators.

No. The galvanic isolators are on the port side mounted high in the locker on the sugar scoop. My shore power connections and two main circuit breakers are on the starboard side. I don't know why. It is all original from Hunter. I bought it new in 2004.

In 2004 the aft AC and propane was on the starboard side so they put the isolator transformers on the port side. The dockside power is on the starboard side along with the main disconnect switches.
