Galley Sink Pump

Hunter 27 Magothy river
We are getting our 1995 Hunter 27 with a tiller ready for the season. The galley sink has a standard hand pump which worked fine last year. The Water tank was emptied for winter and we just filled it. The sink is not working when pumping now, is there a way to prime it or another trick? Thanks

Close clog vent and gently pressurize water holding tank while pump like crazy on hand pump. Or. Take hose off bottom hand pump suck on hose till water shows up

If you can't get it to work, before you replace it, remove and see if you can disassemble it and Clean it. Don't miss cleaning the check valve as well.
