Since the performance specifications are very similiar for the 50 hp Yanmar and the 44's, I'm wondering what it would take to make the conversion? Is it a matter of carburation or are the cylinders and stroke different?
wouldn't Yanmar have some kind of conversions kit? I'm no engine expert, so forgive me but I'd think they might have had this question before & would be able to advise on it. Just a thought. Good luck! LaDonna
