Published an article over in the "Boat Info" tab about how to convert the port salon settee into a double berth. Another P42 owner was having difficulties getting his set up and it appears that he had some missing parts that prevented him from making the conversion. Quite easy to set it up and the article that tells how is here: https://hunter.sailboatowners.com/mods.php?task=article&mid=45&aid=100183&mn=42

    Saloon, not salon.

    Salon : (noun)

( 1 ) Place where customers go to see the hairdressers, beauty consultant, etc…

He has gone to a hairdressing salon.

    Saloon : (noun)

    ( 1 ) Public room on a ship, in a hotel, etc…

I am going to the ship’s dining saloon.

( 2 ) Public room or building for a specified purpose

Do you visit a billiard saloon?
