Combined boat and trailer weight? ODay 26'

Guys, have you ever weighed your O' Day 26' and trailer?
I have not been able to take the boat and trailer to the truck scale yet to get an accurate weight. I'm just wondering about anyone's experience with total trailer and boat weight.

The boat is 4800 pounds and figure 1500 (max) for the trailer. SO you're looking at about 6500 pounds adding gear,water and beer.

^ yup, what he said. I have a 26' and when asked I state exactly what he said. It's on the "Sailboat Data" site. I do have an aluminum trailer so it might be lighter.

I have an O'Day 26 with a painted steel tandem trailer with surge brakes. Boat has an outboard engine. I weighed the boat on trailer and it weighed in at a whopping 7,400 pounds. I tow it with me Chevy Silverado half ton P/U truck. It's an easy tow with that rig. Hope this helps.
