Catalina 42 Cabin side panels

I have to replace the side panel in the aft cabin due to water damage,
Does anyone know the timber used to make these panels
It is the type that has 2" strips glued onto 6mm plywood and is fitted between the shelf and cabin ceiling

If water exposure is likely, you need marine grade, but inside a cabin, normally, cabinet grade is good enough. Is your water issue a continuous risk or has the problem been fixed? The infrequent replacement of water damaged wood might make the cheaper option more reasonable.
