Catalina 250 MK II WB A/C size

I want to add an A/C unit under the v birth inside the storage compartment in my WB 250 MK II boat. I have A/C experience but I want to hear from anyone who has a water cooled unit already installed and can tell me the size of it. I am more concerned of the cooling size than the heating as I will not be installing a reverse cycle heat pump. Does anyone have a 5,000 BTU unit that cools OK in their 250? We live on the Chesapeake bay in Virginia so the summers are humid and hot but not like Florida.

Try a 9000 btu from Mermaid for the 250. I use to be a dealer who installed that but have been retired for a long time now
