C30 Prop

i have repowered my Catalina 30 with a rebuilt M18 and need to replace my prop. I have a 1" shaft and want a 3 blade fixed prop. I know the diameter should be 13" but would a 11" pitch be too much?

Having the tip clearance, displacement, engine horsepower and transmission gear ratio will help determine proper prop specs. Contact any prop manufacturer with this information and they will be able to help you.

Start with www.catalina30.com IIRC, it's an older site. There may be some links to skippers who have started their own more up-to-date websites.

Lynnwood, I think you actually have a M-20. More torque at a lower rpm. I think a 3 blade 13x11 RH should work fine.

What makes you say that? You may be right it was repowered.
