    Hello Sailors,

Still looking at C250s. I noticed that the C250MKIIs have a Bomar Plexiglass hatch (forward deck). I remember my 1984 Catalina 25 had a fiberglass hatch forward (though this was on the slope of the cabin top, the C250MKII's hatch is in the flat portion of the foredeck). Does anyone know of any manufacturer of a fiberglass or metal or composite hatch that would withstand a crewmember standing or sitting on it?
    Thanks!

Looked at 3 different C250s: a '97 WK, '04 WB and a '10WK. The broker on the '10, when I posed the question above, suggested taking the plexiglass out of the hatch and installing fiberglass to replace it. May try that - but like the C250 sliding cabin hatch, with a small plexiglass square in the center. Will post results.
