Hello, Everyone. I have an O'day 22. I would like to know which hole on the bow plate you use for the mainstay and the jib. thx!

Forward most hole is for the forestay, aft most for the jib tack usually. I checked the O'DAY 22 Owners Manual and it doesn't say, but the included diagram seems to agree with my advice above.

The jib has to connect behind the forestay/headstay for the sail to be hoisted and tacked from side to side cleanly.

If there are three holes, it probably doesn't matter if you use the forward-most or middle, but having some separation between forestay and jib tack would be better, so use forward for forestay, aft (which is usually bigger anyway) for your tack shackle.
