Autopilot drive becomes very hot

Hi. We recently face some problems with the Autopilot drive motor of our Hunter 33. in its "3" mode (most sensitive) , within less than an hour, it becomes very hot . only when we switch to "1" mode (less sensitive) its temperature is quite normal. This phenomenon never existed before.
Any ideas what might cause it?

Most likely you need to clean the belt.
