Just started restoration 1974 boat
Ideal for me after not sailing for 30 yrs
And wanted to camp out
Annapolis days long in past..now lower & slower
Lake sailing in AZ/NV...trailering
Boat named AZZURRI..acquamarine
for Italian nat'l football club

I had an A23 and also had an A21. I really loved the A23. They really have the lines of a much bigger boat. Of all the boats in that size range That is my favorite internal layout.

If I was you I would defiantly check out the Aquarius A21/A23 yahoo group. They are very active and have a ton of information on the site. You could even download scans of the original owners manuals.

They are a great solid boat with a simple to set up rig. using a gin pole with the mast I could get her set up and ready to launch in 30-45 minutes. I have even set up the rig while she was floating (bad launch with trees).

What all is going to be involved with your refit?
