Hey folks!

I am placing the various covers back in the boat. But I have this one odd piece that is obviously deteriorating. Any ideas for what it may have been used? Measures about 19" x 28" with a veneer.

something out of the v-berth space, based on the shape, maybe something by PO...my guess...

19 is the height of the dinette cushions ( backrests) ... could be a backer board of some ilk? Although would be a non factory PO addition.

Some people have made panels that fit across from the dining table to the settee. Enable you to sleep across the boat ?

Another option is the panel that supports the rear seat back for the dining table.

The photo makes it look look not wide enough and tapered enough for the companionway of a c22

That looks like oak veneered plywood so it may be something the previous owner added for some purpose. All the covers on my '86 were a much different wood. Perhaps it went inside one of the cushions, like the square V berth filler one.

These are the cushions that came out of the cabin. Doesn't appear there are any seat back cushions.

yea looks like you're missing a seatback and stbd rear, altho not familiar with yours being a '73....others will chime in on that vintage...
