Who here remembers old automobile diesels that the glow plugs came on with the ignition switch and you waited till a light on the dash went out signifying the plugs were hot and you could crank the car??

That is where mine is located.My fuel filter set up....
Because the filter bowl is plastic it not to be in engine compartment.....
there is another filter just like mine but has a metal bowl which you can mount in engine compartment.
