Hi all.
Winter blues got me thinking again. My '91 MKII had a Universal M25XP. My new '97 MKIII has a Universal M25XPA. I have been trying to find out what the difference is between these two engines? I know the newer M25XPB has 4 more horsepower than the 25XP. But, I can't seem to find any reference to the actual changes made to the 25XPA.
Does anyone have a line on this?

Thanks.....and only 64 days to re-launch.

Based on those links they are the same engine with different cockpit panels.
The M25XPB is a different engine. Why? Because they moved the raw water pump from the starboard side of the engine to the port side below the alternator, a really bad position to work on it, and even worse if it is a Sherwood pump.

Thanks Stu. Apparently, from these 2 links, the XP and XPA engines are identical and the raw water pump remains as it was.
